Capital Radio 95.8FM London
Londons best and most listened to top 40 radio station, this was the first commercial radio station in London and was first started in the mid seventies. Was a big part of my teenage years as they used to have a Rock program for 3 hours every evening. Nowdays it plays mostley top 40 but over the weekends it has techno and dance mix show. Check out there web page it has a web camera in Leicester Square in the heart of London West End. It also has a Sports update, London News, Top 40 Pepsi chart, Real Audio samples of new hit music, Games and Prizes to be won. You will need Real Audio Player 3.0 and at least a 14.4 internet connection for the audio link.

Capital Radio 1548AM London
Sister station to Capital Fm, Capital Gold plays songs from the 60's,70's,80's. Also very good "On Air" personalities and a good selection of oldies. Also has a good web page with lots to see. You will need Real Audio Player 3.0 or higher and a internet connection of at least 14.4.

Virgin Radio London
Virgin Radio is owned by the ever popular guru Richard Branson, who was the founder and owner of Virgin Records (untill he sold it to E.M.I. a few years ago). This radio station plays a mixture of Rock classics and up to date music. Mostly concentrates on the adult orinentated mix. Well worth a listen too, as well as to explore the excellent web page. Again with this station you will need Real Audio Player.

U.K.Top 40 Singles Chart
This is the best source for the U.K.Top 40 music single charts on the web. It is updated every week on Mondays at 17:00 hours (5pm). This site features exclusive chart commentary from James Masterton. Click on the info icon on there page for the stories behind the hits. Excellent graphics and easy to use, with well written commentary and history of the hits. Make this site a sure stopping point if you are interested in European music.

U.K.Top 40 Album's Chart
This is the sister page of the singles chart, this gives you the Top 40 best selling album's in the U.K. As with the singles chart it is updated every Monday at 17:00 hours (5pm). Again excellent graphics with a "buy" feature, this enables you to purchase the album you like. Well worth the visit.

Oisin English Food
Being an Englishman living in the U.S.A. for 10 years I miss the special English food that is very hard to find on these fair shores. If you are English to and live in the U.S.A. this page is for you. The best English sauces, biscuits, jams, soups, Branston pickle, salad cream, and a whole lot more for sale. I know this link would not interest many people other than native English men/women or even tourists, but I think it's special so that's all that matters.

Banco de Gaia
Old/New sensation from the U.K. there name is Banco de Gaia. It is a fantastic mixture of ambient/dance/techno. It has the beat of Deep Forest, the background voices of Enigma, and sometimes it sounds a bit like Sacret Spirit. I said old/new as they have been around since 1990 but have just been in the spotlight.If you like Enigma type music this relatively new English project may interest you. Nice graphics and Real Audio samples of his music. Good biography and discography section. Check this site out.

Dreadzone

Another English old/new band whose new CD is called Biological Radio. This band has a mixture of techno, ambient, reggae, dance, crossed with Enigma and Delerium. This new CD is a journey through a changing world,taking in communication, time, technology and the perils of progress along the way. A brush with angels and aliens keeps the path of mystery open. The site is maintained by the band themselves, and is stuffed with sound and video clips and Dreadzone info. Check out the track called "A Dream Withen A Dream" off of the new CD. Is it dub or is it dance?
Whatever it is it's unmistakably Dreadzone.... suck it and see.

If you are going to travel to London in the future this internet site for U.K. maps is really good. It will give you close up street maps for all of the tourist spots. Well worth a visit if you intend to tour London, England.
